Proof by backtest
Our rules, tested on historical data.
We simulate our strategy over years of market data and show the result as it is, across 138 270 positions. It does not win every time, and that is by design: it wins because its gains are larger than its losses. For every 1 EUR lost, 1,15 EUR gained.
The win rate counts winning positions, not euros. What decides the outcome is the ratio between the average gain and the average loss.
And with real capital? We replay the same signals with 10 000 EUR: when everything is invested, the next signal is skipped, as it would be in reality. Taking the strongest signals first each day, over 2016-2026: 22 029 EUR at the end.
Results of a historical simulation (backtest), fees of 0.40% per round trip deducted and before tax. They are hypothetical and are no guide whatsoever to future performance. A backtest measures what would have happened, not what will happen.
