Auralfa compared with the others
We picked the three tools most often used by the people who arrive here: Zonebourse, Simply Wall St et Google Finance. Each does things Auralfa does not, and we say so. A comparison that handed every point to the site publishing it would be worth nothing.
Information checked on 28 juillet 2026 on the three services' public pages, listed at the foot of this page. An error, a price that has changed? Tell us, we correct it and we date the correction.

Zonebourse, the market encyclopaedia
It has been the French-language reference since 2001, and its documentary depth is real: daily written news, factsheets on tens of thousands of holdings, a screener rich in criteria, technical and fundamental ratings, portfolios followed by the editorial team.
What Zonebourse does better than us: the breadth of the universe covered, the richness of the screener, the daily editorial work, the mobile app, and twenty-five years of head start. If you want the widest data possible and daily reading, that is where to go.
What Auralfa adds: a single score per asset whose method of computation is published in full, an interface that adapts to your level instead of showing everything at once, a search written in ordinary language, sector rotation with its validating backtest, and the comparison of the different ways to get exposure to one underlying. And the essentials stay open without a subscription during the beta, where Zonebourse's full screener is reserved for paid plans.
Simply Wall St, visual readability
This is the tool that best solved a hard problem: making fundamentals understandable at a glance. Its five-axis diagram is genuine design work, and its company reports are clear.
What Simply Wall St does better than us: the visual presentation of fundamentals, the iOS and Android apps, the automatic connection to brokerage accounts on paid plans, and a user community on a scale nothing like ours.
What Auralfa adds: technical and fundamental analysis brought together in one score, with a weighting you choose, where Simply Wall St looks mostly at fundamentals. Plus sector rotation, the comparison of wrappers, the real-estate module, and French as the original language rather than a translation. A deep difference on free access: with them, 5 reports a month and no screener; with us, the whole site.
Google Finance, the free starting point
Relaunched in June 2026, it is no longer a plain price display: portfolio tracking, scheduled reports described in plain language, automatic explanations of price moves, an Android app. All of it free.
What Google Finance does better than us: it is free and will probably stay that way; the portfolio import accepts a PDF or a screenshot, where we only read spreadsheet files, and a broker statement arrives in exactly those forms; the Android app exists; and the integration with the Google ecosystem is unbeatable. That import point is the only one in this comparison where a competitor does better than us on a function we claim. It is on our roadmap.
What Auralfa adds: a numerical score per asset and the detail of how it is computed, where Google Finance describes moves without ever passing judgement; a screener in the proper sense, with filters you combine; sector rotation; the comparison of wrappers; real estate and listed assets in one account; and a daily report by email, where their reports arrive as a notification in the Google app.
What Auralfa does not have
- No mobile app. The site works on a phone, but the other three have an app, and that is a real convenience we lack.
- No import by PDF or screenshot. We read any CSV or Excel file, badly formatted ones included, but not a statement in PDF.
- No automatic connection to your broker. Positions are entered by hand or imported from a file.
- No final price list yet. Everything is free during the beta, and we will announce the model before putting it in place, with no surprise for existing accounts.
- A community just starting. The other three have millions of users. We are starting out.
Which one to choose
These tools do not exclude one another, and many of our users keep two. If you want the widest documentary coverage and daily reading in French, take Zonebourse. If you invest mostly on fundamentals and want a polished mobile app, take Simply Wall St. If you want the simplest free tracking, Google Finance is enough.
Auralfa makes sense if you want to understand why an asset is well or badly positioned, with an open method and an interface that follows your progress; if you wonder through which vehicle to get exposure to an underlying rather than which holding to buy; or if you want to see your listed assets and your property holdings in one place.
In every case, Auralfa provides analysis and decision tools, never personalised investment advice. The decision remains yours.
